August 15th-19th
With the heat rising and sun shining, you are much more prone to heat exhaustion! Make sure you are keeping yourself well hydrated and your body cooled off. Too much heat over the course of a few days can have effects on your well-being days after the heat wave is gone. Remember, caffeinated drinks (i.e. Coke, Coffee, and Tea) might make you perky and satisfied for a short while, but at the end of the day, you'll be more dehydrated than if you drank some refreshing ice water!

August 8th-12th
The clinic will be undergoing some building improvements during the second week of August (8th - 12th). We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, however; we will be ready to open back up on August 15th new and improved! Thank you for your cooperation.
Welcome to Our Clinic with a Difference
Welcome to the Official Blogspot of the new Loving Care: Nurse-Led Clinic, LLC., a newly founded clinic run by nurses and nurse practitioners, who have physician collaboration partnerships in place. The clinic is in Pineville, LA and is located in a section of the Nursing Skills Center building on the campus of Louisiana College. The location enables us to meet your health needs in collaboration with our health care team, nursing faculty and nursing students. While the clinic is not part of the College itself, we have joined as two separate entities to address the health needs of the communities of Pineville and Alexandria. We serve patients from all walks of life. Our clinic is an extension of the ministry outreach of the college, along with the recognition that community growth has placed extra pressures on local health resources in meeting health care needs. At Loving Care: Nurse-Led Clinic (LCNLC), the clinic is much like what you would expect at any doctor's office, with provision for many lab tests on site. What we are eager to do is to ensure greater access to care with less wait time, provide the opportunity for our practitioners to have more extensive contact with our patients, and to ensure that patient education is always a priority. Nursing education is supported in the clinic environment, and student nurses will sometimes be a part of our clinic team, under direct faculty supervision. Nurse Practitioners have the ability to prescribe and perform procedures, just as your primary care provider would.

We also utilize a self-pay sliding scale payment method for patients who require financial assistance for the care and services received at LCNLC. We only ask that patients respect the $25 minimum payment due at the time of service.
Our services include but are not limited to:
